Reflecting sparkling light, this hammered sterling silver ring set combines handmade with pure uncluttered elegance. The rings were sawed by hand as flat metal strips from 18 gauge sterling silver and shaped into rings with a pliers and by hammering over a steel ring mandrel until the ends align. Using silver solder and an acetylene torch, the seams were soldered together and the rings were perfectly shaped to perfection on the mandrel. The hammered texture is created after the rings are formed, since hammering the sterling silver will actually stretch the metal and lead to a larger ring size. The edges were hand filed and rings polished with a series of cloths.

As shown, these rings are a 5 and 7 and measure 4 mm and 3 mm width, but can be ordered in any custom size, by simply entering your requests in the notes to seller section during check out. I can also stamp and engrave the inside with a date or short words like love or forever. 

My hubby and I use these hammered sterling silver rings as simple yet extremely tasteful low profile wedding bands. With the hammered texture and our active lifestyles, you never notice scratches or tarnishing and there is no patina to destroy or rub off. Even after several years the hammered finishes provide a sparkling shine in the light. These rings can also be stacked on the same finger or be worn as fitted toe rings.
