For a simple yet elegant buckle, the Mason Bell by Comstock Heritage is an excellent choice. Here at Comstock Heritage we have taken sterling silver and worked it a couple different ways in order to add some detail and texture to it. On the top and bottom of the slightly convex rectangular face, they have placed wide, highly polished bands of 14k rose gold. For the bulk of the face we have chosen a cross-hatched Florentine finish for the 14k yellow gold, a technique borrowed from the master metalworkers of Florence, Italy.
